To mark la Fête Nationale, the Alliance Française Silicon Valley invites you to a Bastille Day picnic on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Vasona Lake County Park, Meadowbrook Site in Los Gatos.

Celebrate France’s national holiday with a relaxed afternoon outdoors. This informal gathering is an opportunity for French people and friends of France to enjoy the summer, share a meal, and spend time together.

🧺 Potluck-style picnic: Please bring your own food and drinks and feel free to bring something to share.

👧 There’s a playground for children.

🌿 No entertainment or program—just a simple get-together in the park.

📍Location: Meadowbrook Site Vasona Lake County Park, Los Gatos

Directions to our site

Drive
1. Enter the park via main entrance on Blossom Hill Rd
2. Pass the entrance kiosk, take the first left, and park
  (don't forget to pay the $6 vehicle entrance fee collected at the kiosk or via a credit-card-only pay machine near it)
Walk
1. Take the path at the end of the parking lot past the restrooms to Billy Jones Railroad tracks, about 200 feet
2. Cross the tracks & turn left onto the boardwalk across Los Gatos Creek
3. Follow the path to the right along the creek, past Creekside site to Meadowbrook site, about 500 feet
